School Electric Gates

Reading Council administered Norcot Nursery contacted Online Barriers to seek a proposal to install automatic school gates at their thriving Tilehurst complex. To view their old gates click here.

After meeting and discussing their requirements, Online Barriers was successfully appointed to carry out the installation after submitting a detailed proposal. Safe gates were at the core of our design, which included:

• Dual Level vandal resistant Photocells (safety beams)
• Safety hinges (removing trap point or zone)
• Remote Fob (remote controls)
• GSM Vandal resistant keypad
• LED warning lights
• CE Compliant safety test control broad
• Force Tested & CE Marked Gate
• Full detailed staff and user safety brief

Local anti-social behaviour provided another challenge, Online Barriers ensured only the most robust equipment was installed.

The security gate system provides the staff, parents and children with secure access control. Most importantly, it provides a safe gate and complies with the HSE Powered Gate bulletin.
